The Carroll Chamber of Commerce annual banquet will be held on Monday, Feb. 6, and Executive Director, Shannon Landauer said they are pleased to be adding a new award for the Young Professional of the Year. Many of these community members belong to the Carroll Young Professionals (CYP) group, who come together to work on ways to give back.
Landauer said CYP is also offering a new form of entertainment for their Meet the Members event this coming Friday.
She said this is not solely for those involved in CYP.
Underground Comedy of Des Moines will be performing at the CYP Meet the Members event beginning at 8 p.m. Friday in Kerp’s party room. A social hour will take place beforehand, beginning at 7 p.m. Everyone 21 to 45 is invited to attend.
