The Carroll Community School District Board of Education recently passed a resolution in support of the Iowa Association of School Boards “Promise of Iowa” campaign. This initiative is designed to focus attention on the future of Iowa public school students and a grassroots campaign for investments in public education. As the promise of Iowa’s future, the goal is to close achievement gaps and provide opportunities for all students as our future leaders, citizens, innovators and caretakers of their generation. The promise means the Carroll Community School District will continue to keep pace with improvements in other states and in their ability to provide a world-class education and they will rally public support to show legislators that the taxpayers and voters are in favor of greater investment in public schools.
