The Lake City City Council passed a resolution Monday night to approve the sale of 2017 passes to the Lake City swimming pool at 2016 prices as part of a holiday promotion. Council members agreed unanimously to keep those prices stable to encourage pass purchases. City Administrator, Eric Wood, is not sure if prices will be higher for next season, and says purchasing one as a gift is a thoughtful way to ensure a good deal. A family pass with taxes costs $160.50 for four members and an extra $10.70 for each additional person, and a single person pass is $96.30 with taxes. Passes can be purchased from city hall at these guaranteed prices through the end of the holidays.
