The current city attorney for Lake View has decided to not seek reappointment for the position, and the Lake View City Council selected their new legal representation at a meeting Monday night. Earlier this year, Kodi Brotherson, informed the city that 2016 would be her last term in the position, and the council has moved forward to select a new attorney to replace her. Dave Jennett was appointed to serve as Lake View’s new city attorney beginning next year. Jennett received his law degree from Drake University in 1979 and operates a law firm out of Storm Lake.
