Road crews in Audubon County will be closing down a one-mile section of 190th street west of Audubon for road work beginning this week. The construction stretches from Eagle Ave. to Falcon Ave. and began Monday, Sept. 26. The effort to clean ditches and repair the road surface is expected to last about two weeks, but that time frame may change in the event of inclement weather. According to Audubon County Emergency Management, the direction of access to the area will alternate during the course of the project. For questions or concerns about the project, contact the Audubon County Engineer, Mitch Rydl, by phone at 712-563-4286.
