Karla Janning, Housing Programs Coordinator for Region XII Council of Governments, has announced the Manning Down Payment Assistance Program is at 50 percent completion, with three of the six projects underway. The program provides five or 10 year forgiveable loans for first time homebuyers or those who have not owned a home within the past three years, veterans, single parents and displaced homemakers.
