The Iowa Department of Transportation has announced that a portion of Highway 71 between Highway 30 in Carroll and Highway 175 in Auburn will be undergoing construction. From approximately 6:15 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. on weekdays through Sept. 30, one lane will be closed intermittently. A pilot car is in operation in that location and drivers are asked to look for flaggers and exercise caution in the construction zone.
