Two Men Arrested In Sac City Drug Bust

The Sac County Sheriff’s Office and the Sac City Police Department took two men into custody on Monday, Aug. 15, after they allegedly sold methamphetamine to a Sac County Sheriff’s Office informant. Twenty-three-year-old Levi Scott Blum of Lake View and 22-year-old Ralph John Freese of Wall Lake reportedly delivered over five grams of methamphetamine to the informant in the 100 block of South Sixth Street in Sac City at approximately 10:50 p.m. As law enforcement officials approached the two suspects, Blum fled. He was quickly apprehended when he was forced to stop after being blocked in by the authorities in the 200 block of Fifth Street. Blum has been charged with delivery of over five grams of methamphetamine, a class B felony and interference with official acts, a simple misdemeanor. Freese was charged with conspiracy to deliver over five grams of methamphetamine, a class B felony. Both men were being held on $25,000 cash bonds.
