Seat bag usage and an air bag helped minimize injuries to three juveniles involved in a single-vehicle rollover accident yesterday (Monday) afternoon at approximately 2:13 p.m. west of Jefferson. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office, the Jefferson Police Department and Greene County Emergency Medical Services responded to 1431 Jordan Ave. to find 16-year-old Baylee Jennelle Eider of Jefferson’s 2005 Honda Accord on its top resting on a large square steel post at a driveway entrance. An initial investigation revealed that when Eider lost control, her car entered the north ditch, where it rolled. Eider and her two juvenile passengers were evaluated at the scene for minor injuries. The Accord was deemed a total loss.
