A reminder that the Manning Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free community shred day on Saturday, Aug. 13 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Manning Child Care Center parking lot. Secure Shred Solutions of Carroll will be on hand to provide the professional, 100 percent recycled shredding service. Personal papers, computer discs and any other materials containing confidential information are eligible for shredding, for the cost of three non-perishable food items which will be donated to the Manning Food Pantry.
