Some Residents Still Without Power After Tuesday Night’s Severe Weather

Another storm rocked the area last night that left many in the region without power. The storm had reported wind gusts of up to 80 mph and resulted in downed power lines, trees and limbs.  Due to the high winds and debris, a large number of residents reported power outages. Ashton Newman, a media relations representative for MidAmerican Energy, notes the severity of the outages.

Even though most have had their power restored, some within the Carroll area are still without electricity.

Severe weather season has fully arrived and being prepared for threatening weather is key. Stay tuned to the radio for any emergency weather alerts and be prepared to seek shelter if required.
