No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Cedar and Madison Streets in Scranton at approximately 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18. Nancy Jean Hanaman of rural Rippey was driving southbound on Cedar Street in a 2013 Toyota Camry and made a complete stop at the stop sign at the intersection with Madison. She then proceeded through the intersection and struck an eastbound 1999 Jeep Cherokee that was driven by Diana Marie Thomas of Scranton. There was an estimated $10,000 in damage to each vehicle and Hanaman was cited for Failure to Yield to a Vehicle on the Right.
