Wild Rose Jefferson has released a summer entertainment line-up that has something to appeal to all tastes. Headliners include a little country, a little rock n’ roll and some laughs for good measure. The Greene Room Events Center will host musical acts Blood Sweat & Tears, Hairball and BJ Thomas as well as comedian John Caparulo and comedic hypnotist, Z*Stonish. Marketing Director, Aaron Harn, said from the very beginning, a major part of Wild Rose’s value proposition to the county and surrounding area was to bring publicly recognized entertainment to fill the void with quality music, concerts, shows and events. It may be a bit trite, Harn said, but “if you build it, they will come” aptly describes what has been experienced over the past year of featured entertainment. They will be entering into the summer with music or other entertainment nearly every week in the Greene Room Event Center as well as in Coaches Corner. They will also be hosting an opportunity for new bands and local artists to “strum their stuff” on Saturday, Aug. 13 at their first annual Wild Battle of the Bands. A prize pool of $1,750 dollars is up for grabs for the bands who will be judged in four areas, including crowd response. The deadline to sign up for this event is Monday, Aug. 1. A full listing of events can be found below.
