Carroll Police and the Carroll Fire Departments were dispatched this morning to the Carroll Can Redemption Center with the report of an individual wedged inside the chimney of the building. Carroll Fire Chief Greg Schreck gave Carroll Broadcasting an update of their operations.
The subject was identified by the Carroll Police Department as 29 year old Jordan Kajewski of Carroll. Police determined that Kajewski was stuck inside the chimney since approximately 1-1:30am Wednesday morning and was finally extricated by the fire department shortly before 11am this morning. Carroll Police Captain Mark Heino said Kajewski was nude at the time they extracted him from the chimney. Schreck says this is one of the more unusual rescue’s his department has undertaken and said that the subject had to be very uncomfortable in his confinement.
Jordan Kajewski is currently being held at the carroll county jail and has been charged with trespass resulting in damage, a serious misdemeanor. The charge carries a penalty of up to one year in jail.
