Whether you like to take a leisurely stroll or you can’t wait to lace up your running shoes and push your limits, you will have a great time with family and friends at the Afterglow 5K run on Saturday, June 18. Individual walkers or teams will be taking part in illuminating the path to cure cancer and raising funds for the Relay for Life at the 10 p.m. event that will begin at the Sauk Rail Trail Houlihan Access. Cost to participate is $25 per person or $20 per person for teams of four or more if registered by Friday, June 3. These costs include your glow accessories and a t-shirt. Registrations received from June 4 through June 18 will be $10 per person and will not include the t-shirt or accessories. Packet pickup will be held Friday, June 17 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Carroll High School or from 7 to 10 p.m. at Houlihan Access the day of the race.
