The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office received a report from Anne Marie Henn of Breda about a breaking and entering and burglary on Friday, May 6. After an investigation, 38-year-old Laura Ann Traufler, also known as Laura Pieper, was taken into custody and charged with Burglary in the second degree. Henn told law enforcement that approximately $30 worth of clothing and personal items was taken, $1,200 in jewelry and $100 in beauty supplies. Traufler was reported to be under the influence at the time of her arrest.
