The public is invited and encouraged to attend a candidate forum for the Carroll County District 5 Supervisor race on Wednesday evening, May 11. The Carroll Chamber of Commerce will host the forum at the Harold Bierl Community Room located at 407 W 5th Street. Chamber Executive Director Shannon Landauer says both candidates, Tony Konkler and Richard Ruggles, will give opening remarks and answer questions submitted by the public.
Questions can be submitted by email prior to the forum’s start at 7:00 pm by sending them to chamber@carrolliowa.com or by calling 712-792-4383. A recording of the Candidate Forum will be broadcast on 1380 KCIM the following night, Thursday May 12, at 6:30 pm. The election for the District 5 Supervisor’s seat will be held June 7.
