Two Carroll High School Teachers were recently recognized in their respective fields for their contributions to their students’ education.
Science Teacher Ken Muyskens was named the Northwest Region STEM Teacher of the Year and received the award from members of the Governor’s STEM Council and Kemin Industries. Muyskens, along with other award recipients from around the state, attended an awards banquet at Terrace Hill in Des Moines earlier this week.
Agricultural Instructor Brady Eischeid will be formally recognized as the 2016 Southwest District Outstanding Young Member by the Iowa Association of Agricultural Educators this summer. Eisheid will be presented with the award at the 2016 Iowa Ag Teacher’s Conference during the last week in June.
