Funeral services for 70 year old LaVern Henson of Carroll will be Friday at 10:30am at the St. John Lutheran Church in Carroll with burial at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery near Lidderdale with military honors conducted by the Carroll American Legion. Friends may call at the Dahn & Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll after 5pm Thursday where there will be a Prayer Service at 6:30 Thursday evening. The casket will be moved to the church @ 9:30 Friday morning where visitation will resume until time of service. LaVern Henson is survived by his wife: Cheri of Carroll……3 sons: Cory of Omaha, Jess Reiling of Dallas Center, and Joe of Grimes…..6 grandchildren….3 sisters: Barb Christiansen of Minnesota, and Lola Paeper & Janet Niles, both of Cherokee….and 3 brothers: Marlin of Sac City, Howard of Storm Lake, and Darrell of Omaha.
