Marilyn Setzler was recently recognized by the Carroll Chamber of Commerce for her philanthropic efforts throughout the community, and everyone is invited to enjoy a performance at Kuemper Catholic Schools that is being funded through one of her programs. Kuemper President, John Steffes, said on Friday, April 8, the school will be welcoming Opera Iowa, who will spend the majority of the day working with and performing for students.
Third, fourth and fifth-grade students will also attend workshops in the morning. The evening masterclass will be followed by the performance of the Rossini version of a very popular story.
The Opera Iowa version of Rossini’s Cinderella will begin at 7 p.m., and again that will be at St. Lawrence.
