The Sac County Sheriff’s Office and Sac City Fire Crews were kept busy last Thursday afternoon, March 10, as they responded to two different grass fires. One was north of Sac City on Canyon Road and the second northeast on 200th Street. Officials report that both fires resulted from careless burning and they are asking everyone to use caution and monitor wind conditions when burning ground cover and fence lines this spring.
