The city of Lake View has authorized the purchase of an elevated, drivable platform known as a Man-Lift. City Clerk Scott Peterson says the machine will be used to fill a void.
The city currently cares for 1,295 trees of various species which are located on public land; 22%, or 283, of those are ash trees. Peterson adds the previous Man-Lift’s primary purpose was for trimming trees as part of city services.
The city will purchase the Man-Lift for a cost of $59,950.
