Des Moines Area Community College will be hosting their first ever online open house at 7 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 25, to present details about the college’s Information Technology programs. The open house will feature success stories and allow visitors to ask questions and get answers in real-time online. MD Isley, Dean of Business and Information Technology at DMACC says they are very excited about this opportunity to allow prospective students and their families to interact with DMACC faculty and staff without leaving their home. The Bureau of Labor and Statistics estimates the United States will be adding more than 685,000 new tech jobs by 2022 and many Iowa companies are already looking for candidates with the right skills to fill their current needs.
