Teresa Wickland currently lives in Carroll, but she has been working for months now on a new venture that would have her spending her days in her hometown of Manning.
Wickland said she has received a great deal of assistance in moving the proposed project forward from Main Street Manning Board President Ron Reischl and City Manager Dawn Rohe, and they are now in the final stages of the planning process, she said.
And though all the I’s are not dotted and T’s crossed, Wickland says she has set a goal of having the doors of the business open within the next couple of months. Wickland currently manages 509 Perk and works at Glik’s, both in Carroll. Third and Main has been closed since the summer of 2015.
