At approximately 12:35 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 3, a Greene County deputy clocked a vehicle doing 98 miles per hour on Highway 30 just east of Scranton. The deputy initiated a traffic stop and subsequently arrested 22-year-old Nathan James Flinn of Rippey for Speed, Open Container, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating While Intoxicated—first offense and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
