As the Carroll Chamber of Commerce prepares for their annual banquet on Monday, Feb. 22 at the Carrollton, they are asking for your input on Carroll businesses that have demonstrated excellence in products, services and management. They will present two awards at the banquet, the New Business Award—for a new business started within the last three years which has made an impression on the community by successfully providing product selection and service—and the Heritage Award—to honor a business that has made a long-term commitment to preserving the integrity and character of Carroll. Anyone may make a nomination and self-nominations will be accepted. The deadline for submission is Friday, Jan. 22, and those nominations can be sent to the Carroll Chamber of Commerce at P.O. Box 307 in Carroll, by email to chamber@carrolliowa.com or by fax to 792-4383. A listing of previous Heritage and New Business Award winners can be found below.
