Members of the Carroll Area Development Corporation’s (CADC) technical committee are currently working their way through data gathered from a countywide housing assessment distributed to Carroll County residents earlier this fall. Executive Director Shannon Landauer says so far the compiled data has provided them with a just a snapshot of projected final results following a recent update.
Landauer says this is only the first draft, so until the CADC has a grasp on the full picture specifics are being kept under wraps.
The final analysis is expected to be completed and released by mid to late January of 2016. For right now, however, one thing Landauer is sure of is that the survey’s results will be able to give developers a better understanding of the housing markets within specific Carroll County communities adding that providing the information was just one of the CADC’s goals for the housing survey. Once results from the survey are released tune to this Carroll Broadcasting station for the final statistics in a future broadcast.
