A recreation trail committee has been created in Sac City in order to see how the area can be better integrated into a trail system which originates out of Lake View, would continue on through the city, and then on to the north towards Spencer. City Clerk Adam Ledford says committee members will be working towards achieving some specific goals.
Ledford adds that the newly formed committee already has a good starting point from which they can begin brainstorming.
In late November the city council approved the appointment of six individuals to the Sac City Recreational Trail Committee leaving one seat left to fill. The newly appointed members include Kimberly Adams, Chris Bass, Stacy Bellcock, Curtis Bloes, Steve Gerry, and Brandy Ripley.
