It was a special evening for The Family Resource Center last night (Thursday) as they celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Fall Affair. Lead organizer, Anne Collison, said the night was a magical one.
She said they had set a pretty lofty goal for the year to celebrate a special milestone for the center.
Collison added they heard all night long how easy it was for people to give to this cause. They are so happy to open their hearts to ensure that the Client’s Closet is fully stocked and the items needed are available.
The live auction by Gary Rupiper was a hit and he really got the room going, which brought in more than they expected. They also were able to have a large majority of their families adopted for the holiday season at last night’s event. She said they all want to send out a big thank you to the entire community.
