Jefferson Matters: Main Street will be holding an informational meeting on the Community Development Block Grant on Monday, Oct. 5 at the Jefferson Elk’s Club. A presentation by Ed Basch of the Iowa Economic Development Authority will get underway at 5:45 p.m. Prior to informational presentation, appetizers and a cocktail hour will begin at 5:15 p.m. All Community Development Block Grant business owners, city council members, block grant committee members and Main Street directors are invited to attend. A question and answer session will take place at the conclusion of the presentation.
