The Jefferson Police Department responded to an unusual call at approximately 5:08 p.m. last night in the 900 block of North Pinet Street. A resident, Cindy Rowland, reported to authorities that her neighbors had placed a bag filled with dog feces on the roof of her home. The responding officer spoke with all parties involved in efforts to diffuse the situation. At this time, no formal charges have been filed.
