Excitement Builds For “Olympic Knights”

The Kuemper Ball will be held this Saturday, April 30, and Kuemper Catholic Schools President, John Steffes, said they are looking forward to a celebration of all the great things that have happened at Kuemper over the past year.

They are also looking forward to what they can accomplish in both their short- and long-term plans. Steffes said, the chair couples are very secretive about the total amount raised for the ball, but no matter what is raised, the money is put to very good use for the Kuemper Schools system.

In addition to revealing the total raised and the announcement of the vehicle and Ag raffle winners, ball attendees will get the opportunity to meet one of the newest members of the Kuemper administrative staff. New High School Principal, Pete Haefs, who will be replacing retiring Principal, Penny Miller, will be on hand.

Again, the Kuemper Ball will kick-off Saturday, April 30, at 4 p.m. with mass in the new chapel, followed by the first serving of dinner at 5 p.m. and the main buffet at 7 p.m. in the Carrollton Main Ballroom. Entertainment will begin during dinner and conclude at 1 a.m. The winner of the vehicle raffle will receive a $20,000 voucher and the Ag raffle winner will receive a $10,000 voucher; both to be used to purchase the items of their choice from participating dealers.
