One person was taken for a medical evaluation following a single-vehicle rollover accident on 235th Street and Quint Ave. east of Jefferson Friday night. At approximately 11:03 p.m., the Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene to find a 1994 Mazda pickup, which was driven by 16-year-old Zoe Catherine Joy of Jefferson, in the north ditch. Joy told the deputy that she had lost control of the vehicle on loose gravel and had rolled into the ditch, coming to rest on the trucks wheels. Joy reported that she did not need medical attention, but was transported to the Greene County Medical Center as a precautionary measure. No damage estimates were available at the time of the report.
