Audubon won their third straight to improve to 8-5. They rallied on Thursday with 4-runs in the 6th and 3 more in the 7th.

Katelyn Nielsen came up big with a 3-run triple in the 6th to spark the club. She finished with 2 hits and 3 RBI. The Wheelers fell down 2-0 in the 1st and after tying the game at 2 in the 4th fell down 4-2 heading into the 6th when the Trojans scored twice in the 5th.

The Wheelers only had 4 hits Johanna Sauers and Hannah Thygesen singling. Jordan Porsch had 2 RBI and Thygesen added an RBI. Kylee Hartl and Thygesen each scored twice. Kali Irlmeier picked up the win going all 7 innings and allowing 1 earned run on 6 hits and 6 strikeouts.

Audubon will look to add to their win streak at West Harrison on Monday.

Sydney Haakenson had a 3-run home run but the Tigers dropped their 3rd straight game and fall to 4-6. Josie Ayala, Chloe Gallegos, Haakenson and Ashley Onken added singles. Onken and Ava Gross scored on the Haakenson home run.

Carroll is off until Monday when they host Carlisle.

Jessica Christensen drove in Ella Richards who was running for Zoey Melton in the 2nd inning for the Wolves lone run of the game. Emily Kerkoff, Amber Halbur, Melton and Christensen each had a hit as the Wolves finished with 4 hits.

The loss drops the Wolves to 2-9 on the season as they travel to Coon Rapids Bayard on Monday.

It was a tough week for the Knights as they went 0-4 and fell for to 5-9 on the season. They picked up 4 hits with Hailey Ostrander, Brianna Lux, Kenzie Schon and Kamryn Venner garnering the hits. Schon doubled for their only extra base hit. Lux and Venner scored on passed balls.

The game was tight until the 7th when Shenandoah added 3-runs to a 5-2 lead.

Kuemper travels to Denison Schleswig on Monday.
