St Albert rallied in the 6th inning and scored 5 runs for the second time in the game and then held on in the top 7th as Kuemper scored twice as they tried to rally. The Saints scored 5-runs in the 2nd inning as well. Kuemper out hit the Saints 12-11.

Kamryn Venner led the Knights attack with 3 hits (including a pair of doubles) while Kyndal Hilgenberg, Kenzie Schon and Sophie Rohe all had 2 hits. Venner also led the team with 3 RBI while Schon and Chloe Venteicher each had 2 RBI.

Kuemper heads to Creston on Tuesday.

The game was closer than the final score indicates as the Tigers gave up 9 runs in the 6th and 7th inning combined after trailing 5-0 entering the 6th. The Toreadors scored 4 times in the 2nd to get out to an early lead.

Carroll only managed 3 hits. Chloe Gallegos had 2 hits including a double. Ashley Onken added the other single.

Carroll will host ADM on Tuesday.

Audubon pounded out 12 hits on their way to a shutout win in the Western Iowa Conference. Kali Irlmeier have up just 5 hits while striking out 2 and walking 1 to earn the win. She added a pair of RBI on offense. Jordan Porsch, Sydney Beymer, Katelyn Nielsen and Hannah Thygesen all had two hits. Nielsen led the team with 3 RBI.

The Wheelers put the game away early with a run in the 1st, 2 in the 2nd and 4 in the 3rd.

The Wheelers will head to Griswold on Wednesday.

The Wildcats pounded out 19 hits with 6 of those going for extra bases including a home run from Vanessa Koehler who along with Macy Snyder and Gretchen Wallace all finished with 4 RBI. The Wildcats scored in every inning and put the game away with a 14-run 4th inning. Talia Schon and Snyder each had 4 hits. Jozey Gump, Vanessa Koehler and Wallace all had 3 hits. Schon tripled. Schon picked up the win going 2 1/3 IP, giving up no hits and 1 earned run.

Glidden Ralston heads to West Harrison on Wednesday.

Ar-We-Va to the bats going on Monday picking up 14 hits and scoring 9 runs but they fell short as Woodbine used a 9-run 2nd inning to jump out to an early lead. The Tigers used 6 unearned runs to their advantage.

Hannah Kraus had a big night with 4 hits, Jamie Hausman, Jadeyn Smith and Maggie Ragaller each had 2 hits. Smith added 3 RBI. Kraus and Kora Obrecht scored twice.

Ar-We-Va will travel to South Central Calhoun on Tuesday on KIKD 106.7.

Kierra Hammen went deep twice for the Titans though they came up short on Monday. Hammen two home runs helped her finish with 6 RBI to go with 2 walks. She had 2 of the teams 7 hits. Madison Schultz, Emma Geno, Brielle Korleski, Sayer Steig and Hallee Maulsby had the other hits.

The E-Hawks used a 9-run final inning to blow open an 11-9 game.

The Titans return home on Tuesday as they host Ar-We-Va on KIKD 106.7.

IKM-Manning was held to 3 hits on Monday in a Western Iowa Conference loss. Mya Doyle, Amber Halbur and Emily Kerkhoff all picked up base hits. Kerhoff added 2 stolen bases. Those were the only base runners for IKM-Manning.

The Wolves will look to rebound at CAM Anita on Wednesday.
