Funeral services for 83-year-old Walter Thomas of Carroll will be Monday, February 11th, at 11 am at the First United Methodist Church in Carroll with burial at the Cottonwood Cemetery in Lake City at a later date. Military honors will be conducted at the church by the Carroll American Legion. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 5 to 7 pm on Sunday. Visitation will resume at the church after 10 Monday morning(Feb. 11th), until time of service. Walter Thomas is survived by his wife: Rose Marie of Carroll……his children: Stacey Locke of California, Stephanie Thomas of Maryland, Heather Dutra of California, Jason Gurney of Virginia, Tina Heuton of Lake City, Brooke Thomas of Nevada, and Walter Thomas Jr. of California…..5 grandchildren….and a sister: Marjorie Keel of Ohio.
