A Dunlap woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident Friday afternoon east of Dow City. The Iowa State Patrol reports that 27-year-old Christina Foote was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu on County Road E-59 at approximately 2:41 p.m. when she left the roadway at a curve near the intersection of 210th Street. The vehicle rolled into the north ditch. Foote was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Dunlap Police Department and Dow City Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.
