With an abrupt end to the school year for many college students, a cooperative project was launched to assist those who may be far from their campus in returning materials belonging to their school’s library. Thirty-seven participating library locations across Iowa will accept items from other participating libraries and return them to their place of origin at no cost to the borrower. This service will be available through the end of the summer. All Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) campuses are included in this program. “DMACC Libraries is proud to be part of this unique, statewide collaboration in support of students, especially during these challenging times,” says Director of Library Resources, Rebecca Funke. She also encourages all DMACC students, near and far, to take advantage of the resource offered.
