No injuries and minor damages were reported in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday in Carroll. The Carroll Police Department responded to the intersection of U.S. Highway 30 and Quint Avenue at approximately 2:49 p.m. Thirty-five-year-old Matessa Aschinger of Breda was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Volt northbound on Quint, attempting to turn west onto Highway 30. She turned in front of a southbound 2014 Jeep Cherokee, driven by 43-year-old Debra Clausen of Carroll. The vehicles collided in the intersection, resulting in functional damage to both. Aschinger was cited for failure to yield on a left turn.
