Main Street Manning is hosting two tasty events, one this Thursday and one on Father’s Day. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday — or until these popular confections sell out, Scratch Cupcakes will offer curbside pickup. The truck will be parked on the east side of 4th and Main Streets, between Deb’s Corner Café and Accura Healthcare. Flavors planned for Thursday include: Wedding Day, Oh Happy Day, Sour Green Apple, Red Velvet, Doughicious, Black Forest and many more. There are a limited number of pre-orders available with 48-hours notice. One dozen of the flavors found on the link included below can be ordered by calling 319-277-7955. These must be paid for in advance. Gluten free dessert bread slices are available by pre-order only. Everyone is asked to practice social distancing while picking up their Scratch treats. Then on Sunday, Main Street Manning is hosting a special Father’s Day drive through breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. from Deb’s Corner Café. They will be serving ham and cheese omelets with fresh fruit and Texas toast for a free will offering (Suggested donation of $12). There are only 150 meals available and they will be presenting gift bags to the first 100 cars. Requests for delivery will be available to homebound individuals within the Manning city limits by calling 712-655-2423 on Sunday morning starting at 8:30 a.m.
