Jefferson authorities have opened an investigation into a report of an individual being held against their will. At approximately 12:05 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, the Jefferson Police Department was called to the Emergency Department at the Greene County Medical Center. A male patient there had requested the officer and told him he had been assaulted and held by more than one person at a rental property in the 100 block of East Clark Street since Friday, Feb. 14. No other details on the suspect or suspects was made available at this time.
