ISICS Project Updates Are Top Priorities At Monday’s Carroll Supervisor Meeting

The bulk of Monday’s Carroll County Board of Supervisor meeting will be focused on the Iowa Statewide Interoperable Communication System (ISICS) project. The board will get an update as well as review agreements for tower site leases in Coon Rapids and Manning and construction proposals for the Lanesboro tower site. They will then receive a quarterly report from the IT/GIS and Planning and Zoning departments before a review of the homestead and military applications and the disabled veterans’ homestead tax credit applications. Coming back to the table again will be the North Raccoon River watershed plans before manure management updates. Because of the need to adhere to social distancing guidelines, the general public is encouraged to join the meeting by following the link to the county’s YouTube channel included with this story online. Anyone wanting to submit questions or comments on agenda items prior to the meeting can do so by emailing them to supervisors@carrollcountyiowa.org. To make comments or ask questions on agenda items during the 9 a.m. meeting on Monday, July 6, you must have a YouTube account and subscribe to the county’s channel.
