Coon Rapids Woman Taken Into Custody On Greene County Drug Charges

A Coon Rapids woman was booked into the Greene County jail Wednesday on outstanding arrest warrants for drug charges. According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Whitney Campbell-Perez, who has also reported residence in Jefferson, was taken into custody at approximately 2:56 p.m. She is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, first-offense possession of a controlled substance—marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges stem from a traffic stop in Grand Junction on Feb. 13. Authorities located marijuana, methamphetamine, marijuana wax and several smoking devices inside the vehicle Campbell-Perez was driving at the time. Her two passengers, 24-year-old Joshuah Blumberg of Coon Rapids and 20-year-old Dakota Barrett of Grand Junction, face similar charges.
