The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will be holding two meetings next week, with the second covering a single item. The first meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28 at the Carroll County Courthouse meeting room, but will also be made available for remote viewing. The agenda contains mainly routine business items, such as utility permits and drain issues from secondary roads, payables and manure management annual updates. The board will also discuss a contact tracing contract labor position as well as a service agreement with Raccoon Valley Electric Cooperative. The second meeting will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30. The board will be considering approval of a resolution for the sale and issuance of General Obligation (GO) refunding bonds and for the levying of taxes. This meeting will also be held in the courthouse meeting room and livestreamed on the county’s YouTube channel, a link to which is included below. The asking of questions during either meeting requires the creation of a YouTube account and a subscription to the county’s channel.
