A Breda woman was killed in a Shelby County accident sometime last night (Wednesday) or earlier this (Thursday) morning. The Iowa State Patrol reports the accident occurred on Highway 37 and County Road F-16, southeast of Dunlap, between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday morning. Thirty-two-year-old Amber Sauvago was westbound on Highway 37 when the 2002 Ford F-150 struck the bridge and entered the north ditch. The truck hit a tree, coming to rest on the north side of the intersection. Sauvago was pronounced dead at the scene. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Dunlap Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.
