On Monday, our news department ran a story regarding the opening of a new full-service bakery in Lake View last weekend. After speaking with several residents in the community, we were provided information indicating the last bakery in Lake View closed its doors in 1967. We have since learned of a different establishment that operated in the community from 1988 to 2003. TJ’s Donut Shoppe provided a variety of baked goods to customers, including pastries, rolls, bread, cakes and more. We apologize for this error.
