A warrant is being sought on a Stuart man after video footage catches him in the act of stealing a wallet. The Jefferson Police Department reports they are requesting the warrant for a charge of theft in the second degree, a class D felony, on 43-year-old Shawn Robert Clark. An investigation was opened on Feb. 24 after a female patron of Wild Rose Casino and Resort reported the theft of the pocketbook that contained $1,000 in cash. The video evidence allegedly shows Clark pick up the wallet and carry it into a restroom before leaving the casino.
