During this season of giving, U.S. Cellular is bringing back their Future of Good program for the fifth consecutive year. They champion and invest in young people who bring fairness to their communities, raise awareness for youth causes and increase their impact through financial contributions. Nominations of young people ages six through 17 who make a positive impact in their communities can be done now through April 15, 2020. Six winners will be chosen; three will be announced in February and another three in May. Each will receive $10,000 to put towards their cause and their stories will be featured on The Future of Good website. Nominators should visit the website and describe the nominee’s cause, how it helps his or her community and how they will use a cash grant for technology or other means to continue and grow their efforts. Nominees must not turn 18 before Aug. 30, 2020. Since its inception, there have been 40 winners, with five hailing from Iowa last year.
