Twenty-three area business and student members completed the 2018/2019 Carroll County Leadership Institute with a graduation ceremony at the Carrollton Centre last week. This 20th graduating class now brings the total number of participants to 408. The keynote speaker for this year was Brandon Vonnahme, who provided a message on how to ACT to become a leader. He said you need to Assess where you are at and accept it, Create who you want to become and then Take massive action towards your plan. Most importantly, Vonnahme said, leave the world better than you found it. The Carroll County Leadership program is made up of eight sessions from September through April at which participants are introduced to issues through panels, lectures, on-site visits, and group discussion. Those interested in becoming a sponsor or participating in the 2019/2020 program can contact Rosanne Nees at the Carroll Chamber of Commerce through the phone number included with this story on our website.
