Formal charges have been filed in District Court for Carroll County against a Carroll man accused of selling MDMA, more commonly known as ecstasy. Court records say 36-year-old Kevin Marcus Moore faces one count of delivery of a controlled substance—MDMA, a class C felony. The charge stems from an incident on July 16 in the 500 block of E. 18th Street, during which officers with the Carroll Police Department witnessed the sale take place. An arraignment hearing has been scheduled for Monday, Aug. 26 at the Carroll County Courthouse. If found guilty, Moore could be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
